A drill instructor with Instructional Training Company, Support Battalion, gives a brief prior to starting Combat Conditioning Exercise at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 6. Recruits conduct physical training on a weekly basis to stay conditioned for the various events they encounter throughout training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Echo Company is scheduled to graduate April 12.
