Acadia National Park - National Parks Gallery

Students from the Island Institute, schools from six islands off the coast of Maine, went on a hike last week with an education ranger above Sand Beach in Acadia National Park. Students compare and contrast beach, wetland, and forest habitats by collecting data about water and air temperatures, salinity, turbidity, and wind speed in three different settings.
