After the wildland fuels treatment, looking towards Lake Superior from the Headquarters building. Tree limbs close to the ground at the Park Headquarters complex were trimmed to prevent a fire on the surface of the ground from getting into the treetops, brush was remove creating a defensible space around the structures and restoring a historic viewshed.
