Drill instructors of Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training

Drill instructors of Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, recite the Drill Instructor Creed during pick up at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 23. The creed reaffirms their promise to the recruits to train them to the best of their abilities and to make them Marines as well as to inform the recruits for what is expected of them. Today, all males recruited from west of the Mississippi are trained at MCRD San Diego. The depot is responsible for training more than 16,000 recruits annually. Kilo Company is scheduled to graduate Jan. 15.
