French Hotel, awaiting renovation in Senatobia, Mississippi

Dr. A.M. Arnold French constructed the hotel in 1858. Dr. French and his wife owned and operated the hotel until his son, Jesse French, took over in 1912. At the time of this photo in 2016, community preservationists were conducting a determined campaign to save what may be the town's oldest building.
The camera GPS reading erroneously places this image in Franklin, Tennessee.
