GySgts. Cedric L. Smith (left) and Randy C. Velliquette (center) review incoming students’ paper as part of the check in process at the Okinawa Staff Noncommissioned Officers’ Academy. Students at the academy are sergeants, staff sergeants and gunnery sergeants and they will undergo seven weeks of intensive knowledge, skill and physical training before graduating and returning to their home units. Smith and Velliquette are faculty advisors for career course at the Okinawa SNCO Academy, Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Base Butler, Marine Corps Installations Pacific.
