Jake Symons, a staff member at the dining facility, serves breakfast to a member of the 23rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron forward deployed to Royal Air Force Fairford, England, June 14, 2015, in support of BALTOPS 15 and Saber Strike 15. The base was transitioned from a “warm” status to an active status to support over 200 personnel forward deployed to participate in the exercises. The purpose of these multi-national exercises is to promote mutual understanding, confidence, cooperation, and interoperability among forces and personnel of participating nations.
