Summary
The map is a cartographic reconstruction of Lewis and Clark's journey through the Blackbird Study Area near the Missouri River. It was created in conjunction with a study by Ryan M. Cooper, Steven L. De Vore, and Andrew S. Veech entitled "Searching for Wazi ga-sabe: Geophysical, Cartographic, and Ethnohistoric Investigations Along the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail in Thurston County, Nebraska".
