Summary
Mount Rainier National Park Ranger Oscar Sedergren, standing on the porch of the White River Campground patrol cabin in 1928. Rangers traveled the encircling trail in all seasons, on the watch for fires, poachers, and vandals. The cabins served as their living quarters during the summer and fall, and as emergency shelters in the winter.
