Rosamond, Calif., native, Christina Lujan, wife of Gunnery Sgt. Pedro “Pete” Lujan, the cyber security chief for 9th Communication Battalion, I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, joins her husband in formation to receive a certificate of appreciation during Pedro’s retirement ceremony aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 21, 2015. Pedro said they have been together since their freshman year of high school and have now been married for approximately 19 years. His family has supported him through approximately five years’ worth of deployments throughout his 20-year career.
