Summary
A strop is a device, typically a strip of leather, for sharpening straight razors.
Handle portion is made of bent wire to form a rectangle. Clamp stamped "ZIG ZAG, CHICAGO, IL. A." Pat. numbers are illegible because of rust. On strap is a spring clamp to hold a razor. This has a wood handle painted black.
