Tall Case Clock - National Parks Gallery
Summary
This mahogany tall case clock is a reproduction of the one still owned by the M'Clintock family. The original stood in the front parlor of the M'Clintock residence and witnessed the drafting of the Declaration of Sentiments. The reproduction stands in its place today. The clock that stood in the M'Clintock House, passed down through that family since the 1790s, is still in the family. This reproduction is an exact replica of the clock case, face, and portion of the moon phase dial. This item is an example of an item in the park's collection that was reproduced from family collections or other institutions for exhibit in historic houses.
