Summary

The Air Force's “fini-flight" tradition continued on at the 155th Air Refueling Wing on Dec. 6, 2019, when Lt. Col. Edward Conner flew his final flight as an 173rd Air Refueling Squadron member. The “fini-flight” ceremony is an old U.S. Air Force tradition where a pilot's last flight in an aircraft before they leave a squadron, a wing, or retires from the Air Force. Conner was greeted by family and friends after landing his KC-135R Stratotanker at the Nebraska Air National Guard base.
Conner spent 18 years with the Nebraska Air National Guard in the 173rd ARS as a flight commander with over 3,800 military flight hours.
We congratulate you on your new staff position in Hawaii.
