The flight of the Congress - A black and white drawing of animals in a forest
Summary
General Howe as a lion chasing various American leaders in the guise of other animals -- a donkey in a lion's skin is John Hancock, an armadillo is Washington, a tiger is Laurens. From a liberty tree in the middle ground, a squirrel scatters paper currency and an owl flies away holding a sign inscribed, "Louis Baboon a Paris."
