Summary
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District Navigation Support Team replaces the crane of the tender vessel Harrell at the Great Bridge Reservation, Virginia, Feb. 27, 2019. Since the U.S. Congress first appropriated money in 1884 to improve navigation on the James and Elizabeth rivers, the Norfolk District has been responsible for removing shoals, snags and other obstacles.
