The U.S. Marine Corps Band performs during the evening parade at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., June 19, 2015. Retired Lt. Gen. Robert M. Shae, chairman of the board of directors, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, was the guest of honor, and Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, commander, Marine Forces Reserve, and Marine Forces North, was the hosting official. The evening parade summer tradition began in 1934 and features the Silent Drill Platoon, the U.S. Marine Band, the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and two marching companies.
