U.S. Marine Pfc. Tyler Ren, from Allenton, Mich., provides security at an entry-control point during I Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 2016 at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Aug. 17, 2016. LSE-16 is designed to enhance the command and control and interoperability between I MEF command-element staff and its higher, adjacent and subordinate command headquarters.
