U.S. Marines Lance Cpl. Roberto Charbonier (left), and Lance Cpl. Kyle Wielkie (right), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear defense specialists with Headquarters Company, Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, remove a container during CBRN contamination mitigation training on Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 14, 2019. The Marines were tasked with properly sealing, packing and removing a simulated barrel leaking into the ocean, while in mission oriented protective posture. CBRN training is critical to maintain readiness and prepares Marines to be able to respond to crises in any type of environment.
