U.S. Marines march across the parade deck at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., June 5, 2015. Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., was the guests of honor for the parade and Marine Corps Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, 36th commandant of the Marine Corps, was the hosting official the parade. The Evening Parade summer tradition began in 1934 and features the Silent Drill Platoon, the U.S. Marine Band, the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and two marching companies.
