This lovely shot from the Poole Collection of the beach at Woodstown, County Waterford has a number of attractions. Soft sand, boys making sand castles, fish traps in the distance, a beached boat and a lady with an impossibly narrow waist...Confirmed to have been taken at Woodstown Strand ( https://www.google.com/maps/@52.1972289,-6.9818147,3a,49.2y,90.67h,87.71t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sZXoX2-ZR2R7KfgJZhWKLOw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 ) , the consensus is that at least some of those pictured may be members of the Poole family ( http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Waterford/Waterford_Urban_No__4/The_Mall/1762217/ ) .
