Chalmette, La., Dec. 17, 2013 –  FEMA joined St. Bernard Parish President David Peralta and other local, state and federal officials to officially cut the ribbon of the Karen Drive Canal Crossing in Chalmette. St. Bernard Parish has a total of 49 canal crossings scattered throughout the Parish.
