Slack tide project - Repairing earthquake damage to the 36-inch sewer outfall in the anchorage tidal flats area is being done under an Army Corps of Engineers contract held by National Mechanical Contractors, incorporated, Anchorage. The work must be done during minus tides. The minus tides will not occur again until next month. Meantime the contractor has other areas above the tidal zone to repair under the $199.000 contract.
