The CORONADO is serving as the temporary command ship for Commander, US Seventh Fleet while the ue Ridge Class Amphibious Command Ship USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC 19) is in a scheduled dry dock maintenance period. Besides serving as a temporary command ship, CORONADO is also experimenting with a unique manning concept.
