Hurricane/Tropical Storm - St Bernard Parish, La. , August 7, 2008 -- Extreme flooding and wind damaged the St. Bernard Parish Government Complex, causing damage to the shutters, roof and roof access panel. A 12-foot high storm surge swept debris into the meeting room, contaminated masonry walls and damaged wood floors, metal doors, windows and blinds. This two story government complex consists of a two-story main building and a single story meeting hall. The complex houses administrative support services essential to the operations of the parish.
