The F-16N has been selected by the US Navy as its supersonic adversary aircraft and will be used by the Navy Fighter Weapon School (Top Gun) and other squadrons to train Navy and Marine Corps tactical aircrews in air combat. The first F-16N is scheduled for delivery in early 1987
