Climaxing the celebration of National Airmail Week, Andre Kostelanetz, noted orchestra and a two-time winner of a trophy for being America's number one air traveler, today presented to Postmaster General Farley, a bronze placque which he (Kostelanzetz) sent around the world by airmail to show how that branch of the service has speeded up the delivery of letters and packages. In 1937 Kostelantz won the title of number air passenger by flying a total of 136, 200 miles. In the center is Lily Pons, noted opera singer and financee of Kostelanetz

Jenks, Republican, was the winner over Alphonse Roy, Democrat, from the first district of New Hampshire. After an 11-hour session the commission gave the decision to Jenks by a margin of 10 votes.
