30. Jervis Bay - or a Game of Golf

description

Summary

From June 1930 to early 1958, the Royal Australian Navy vacated the Royal Australian Naval College at Jervis Bay and the buildings were leased for use as tourist accommodation. The site became a well known tourist resort. This photo is a view of the resort from Jervis Bay. The College facilities included a golf course which was presumably put to good use during the period of its operation as a tourist resort.
