The F-5 tornado that devastated a good portion of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, just barely missed destroying Tinker AFB, Oklahoma . The base caught the outer edge of the tornado and suffered little major damage, but numerous cars were damaged, 20 buildings had major damage, and lots of debris covered the base.
