AAV-P7/A1 assault amphibious vehicles with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) head toward a range during the 22nd MEU Deployment for Training at Fort A.P. Hill, VA., July 28, 2018. The training allowed the Marines with Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines, 22nd MEU to incorporate tanks, amphibious assault vehicles, aircraft, indirect fire, mortars and infantry into a series of combined arms live-fire ranges in order to maintain proficiency for their upcoming deployment.
