Afghan Border Police patrolman, Pvt. Khalid, looks at his certificate of graduation from the trauma assistant medic course, March 28, 2012, after receiving it during a graduation ceremony at the Joint Regional Afghan National Police Center in southern Afghanistan. Thirty policemen completed the eight-week course which covered topics such as basic anatomy, rescue breathing, bleeding control, and treating chest, abdominal, head and spinal injuries. This was the last course to be taught with the administrative assistance of Regional Support Command (South) medical advisors.
