Afghan National Army Sgt. Fati Shah Meenawal, an infantryman from Khogyani, Nangarhar province, assigned to 2nd Kandak, 2nd Brigade, 201st ANA Corps, pays close attention to U.S. Army Cpl. Joel M. Kuhn, a combat medic from Glendale, Calif., assigned to Company A, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, Task Force Cacti, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, TF Bronco, during a combat lifesaver course at Nangalam Base in eastern Afghanistan's Kunar province May 29. Kuhn and his fellow soldiers spent four days training their ANA counterparts in medical tactical care.
