POL fuels supplies JB Charleston vehicles with fuel, including rail operations, cranes on Wharf Alpha to offload ships, port operations on the water, the 628th Security Forces Squadron and the U.S. Coast Guard. The 628th LRS has been providing this service since October 2010. A new service station is under construction at the Weapons Station and is scheduled to open later this year.
