Applying Gunnite in the First Tunnel in 1939

description

Summary

After the road was opened in 1937, there were still a few things to finish. Gunnite is a very thin concrete that is sprayed onto a surface. All three tunnels received a coating of the mixture. At the same time, curbs, portals and side guards were added.
