Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Jacob Costas (right), 28, a Military Police Soldier, gives orders to Sgt. Juan Rivera at the scenario-based Army Warrior Task event during day two of the 200th Military Police Command’s Best Warrior Competition on April 1 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. Eight warfighters are competing in the week-long competition held March 31 – April 3 in a variety of physical and mental events to earn the top spot of Best Warrior for Soldier and noncommissioned officer of the year. Costas is assigned to the 339th MP Company and from DeWitt, Iowa. The winners will compete at the Army Reserve Best Warrior Competition held in May.
