Bowl with two handles - Public domain museum image. A brown and black vase sitting on top of a table
Summary
Two Small Jars.
Jars such as these usually have a geometrical shape with the elegant lines of the swirling curvilinear pattern decorating the body as a striking detail. The jars were quite often painted while being turned on a pottery wheel. By holding the brush still in one position, the potter could create lines of the same thickness.
