Capt. Kimberly Soer, incoming commander of “Falcon” Company F, 1st “Vanguard” Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Division–Center and a Honolulu native, holds the company guidon after receiving it from Lt. Col. John Cross, commander of 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, and an Elk City, Okla., native, during the company change of command ceremony June 24 at Camp Taji, Iraq.
