Summary
Significance: Coolidge Dam remedied the water needs of the Pima and Maricopa Tribes on the Gila River Reservation, and also provided water for the neighboring Anglo community. Structurally, Coolidge Dam was the first, and perhaps only, dam to use a multiple dome design.
