Counting House, Fort Vancouver national historic site
Summary
Fort Vancouver. The original counting house was built in 1845. This structure, reconstructed in 2003, is a one and one-half story building. The hip roof has wood shingles and exposed rafters. Exterior walls are constructed of horizontal, infill timbers between vertical posts, covered with lapped board siding painted white.
