Cap stamped: RUDALL & ROSE / PATENTEES (royal coat of arms, including crown, lion, and unicorn). Patented tuning slide which is advanced or retracted simultaneously with head joint tuning cork by rotating cap. English style head joint, contains tenon.

Medium: Cocus, silver cap, wide silver ferrule around embouchure, silver keys, and silver-lined sockets. Internal head joint materials, brass and silver.; 74.15 cm.

Key Holes System: 13 keys, pewter plugs for low C#, C, B, B-flat, with round metal plates under plugs. Foot to B-flat, rollers for C, B, B-flat.

Condition: Head joint, cracked and filled.
