A variation of the design 1901-39-2512. James stands upon a pedestal which rises from behind the sarcophagus. Seated to the left is Justice, holding a rod and a book entitled “I.V.S.” as she leans her right hand upon a crouching lion. At right is the motif of “War” in 1901-39-2509, without vaults and framing lines throughout.
