Due to flooding around the Cooper Nuclear Station,
Summary
Due to flooding around the Cooper Nuclear Station, the Nebraska National Guard Soldiers of Company G, 2nd of the 104th General Support Aviation Battalion assisted the workers, getting in and out of the station, to keep the power on in the area on March 16, 2019. The station, which is located along the Missouri River, was surrounded by the flood waters and cut off from the town of Nemaha. Nebraska has experienced its worst flooding ever; displacing hundreds of people and causing millions of dollars in damages to homes, farmland, and cities. (Nebraska National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
