Englisch printet. Book illustration from Library of Congress, British Cartoon Print
Summary
Print shows eight men wearing legal or clerical bands sitting at a long table, in front of which is a procession of animals; on the right is a donkey throwing its rider, followed by a unicorn ridden by a cock, behind it a goat ridden by a man facing its tail, and last is a lion, smaller than the goat, pulling a small cart driven by a man. In the upper right background are French sailors dancing to a tune played on the fiddle by a man (representing America) wearing a feathered headdress. The figures are numbered and a corresponding legend is printed in Dutch below the illustration.
