Feline Bottle, 10th century - Public domain museum image. A brown vase with a design on it

description

Summary

Public domain photo of 3d object, pottery, ceramics, classical or archaic, free to use, no copyright restrictions image - Picryl description.

The best preserved monuments of the Huari culture are located near the towns of Quinua, Chiclayo and Pikilyacta (the latter not far from Cusco on the "road" to Lake Titicaca). An interesting Huari monument are the petroglyphs of Toro Muerto. In December 2008, the well-preserved city of Cerro Patapo was discovered in northern Peru (until then, the Huari kingdom was thought to have occupied only the southern coast). Traces of human sacrifice have been found in the city.
