Summary

Two small horizontal panels joined by vertical seam. Left panel: Islamic inscription framed top and bottom by plait border, guilloche on right side - reserved on blackish ground. Right panel: rosette interlacing with lotus fillings and narrow interlacing boarder - reddish outlined on undyed ground. Seemingly part of a cap-band with coarse undyed cotton lining and inner lining.

Translation of Islamic inscription: Glory to our Lord the Sultan.
