[Hurricane Katrina] Baton Rouge, LA, March 4, 2006 - Located at the front entrance of Lowe's Home Improvement Center is FEMA's Mitigation Workshop Team prepared to greet customers and provide information on how to protect homes against future hurricanes. FEMA, in partnership with several home improvement centers, offer these workshops at the stores, encouraging homeowners and contractors to rebuild hurricane damaged houses more resistant to hurricane forces.
