Kyle Gagnier, left, FEMA, geographic information system unit lead, and CJ Hamilton, Corps of Engineers local government liaison, review products FEMA's GIS team created at the Joint Field Office in Baton Rouge, La., Sept. 16, 2020. As an arm of FEMA’s federal response to Hurricane Laura, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is providing support to the state and local communities largely through our temporary emergency power, Operation Blue Roof and infrastructure assessment programs. We are also providing technical assistance to the state with debris removal and temporary housing.
