Local Afghans including their children as seen here are welcomed into a Village Medical Outreach Program (VMOP) conducted by the Afghan National Army and Marine Special Operations Team in Darrah-I- Bum Village, Badghis province, Afghanistan, Aug. 4. The 3/1/207th ANA and Marine Special Operations Team medics conducted the VMOP in the village to improve relations between ANA and local population. It was the first major engagement between the ANA and Coalition Forces with the local populace.
