A C-130 Hercules taxies to a parking spot during a Jan. 30 dust storm at Sather Air Base, Iraq. Baghdad International Airport recently activated a instrument landing system, which allows pilots to use aircraft instruments to land in low visibility conditions like a dust storm. Sather AB is located on the west side of Baghdad International Airport and base Airmen move 6,200 passengers weekly and more than 1,700 tons of cargo weekly.
