Oregon Air National Guard Col. Daniel Bunch, the Air National Guard (ANG) assistant to the deputy judge advocate general (DJAG) of the United States Air Force, stands between his wife (left) and daughter (right) as they pin on his new rank of brigadier general during his promotion ceremony at the 41st Infantry Division Armed Forces Reserve Center in Clackamas, Ore., Feb. 19. Bunch assists with legal oversight functions pertaining to the Air National Guard and provides leadership and planning for all ANG legal offices, including some 440 judge advocates and paralegals throughout the nation. Bunch has served in numerous legal positions throughout his military career.
