Arthur Henri Poole - Soldiers Going Away II
Summary
Thanks to Niall McAuley ( gnmcauley/ ) for confirmation that this photo was taken at Adelphi Quay in Waterford, and that sign at top right is for Soldiers' Home. And we're indebted to whoever packed the luggage as they left the name facing outward on one on the boxes - WORLLEDGE - and look through the comments below to see what that one word led to! Plus the little flag that says "5th Sig Co." was a great clue too.....Date: 1914???..NLI Ref.: P_WP_2169 ( P_WP_2169 )
